About Precision Agriculture Unit

The Percision Agriculture Research Unit is a subset of the Advanced Engineering Innovation Research Group whose core mandate lies in the use of advances in technology to improve the productivity of the Agriculture sub sector of the economy through the development of innovative and enhanced products and services using cutting edge technologies. The areas of application in the agriculture section includes but not limited to Aquaculture, Poultry , Irrigation and General Automation of farming processes.
At PARG special emphasis is also given to career development and educational support of members (Young schoolleavers, Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students)through provision technical support for research projects.
